# Portable Workout Format (PWF)

> PWF is an open JSON format for one workout: what to do, in what order and when each step ends, precisely enough that any app can play it with the same timing. AI assistants can write PWF from a plain-language request, change it, and give the person a link that plays it in the browser.

PWF is a draft (version 0.1). Documents need only `pwf`, `name` and `plan`. The schema is strict, so don't invent fields.
